Be part of a team that design and develop test procedures and standards for highly complex products. You will participate in the development and certification of environment test functionality across multiple products and applications. This will enable you to support new products, processes, standards or operational plans within the organization's business strategies, with a direct impact on the business results.
Key Responsibilities
Hands-on component and subassembly development and assembly
Perform work according to procedures and specifications
Basic understanding of mechanical or electronic functions
Experience and ability to use various mechanical/hand tools and soldering, brazing without instruction
Following assembly procedures and record test results and discrepancies
Incoming inspection and data collection on components
Basic computer skills
Ability and willingness to perform moderate physical tasks, such as lifting, carrying, bending, continuous standing
Ability to collaborate with engineers to develop and document activities
Troubleshoot, adjust, test, and maintain equipment, devices, or systems.
Perform calibration and alignment checks.
Occasional travel may be required
YOU MUST HAVE
High School Diploma or GED
US Citizenship is required due to ITAR restrictions
1 year of manufacturing and/or test lab experience
WE VALUE
Associates Degree in a technical discipline such as electro-mechanical or related area
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience with MS Office (Word and Excel)
Demonstrated experience assembling and testing of hardware
Demonstrated experience with welding and machining is a plus
Demonstrated ability to read drawings, assembly & test procedures, and related documentation
Experience interpreting electrical and mechanical drawings including piping schematics
Strong interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated capability as very detail oriented
