The content marketing manager is instrumental in shaping our story in Verint’s Experience Management (XM) business unit. This role will partner with key stakeholders including executives, Go to Market, and creative teams to develop and implement a content strategy that inspires, educates and drives engagement with our technical audience of buyers and influencers. The content Marketing Manager is responsible for writing and editing thought leadership content and contributing to research reports, editorial and byline articles, blog posts, email nurture campaigns, client case studies and other written material related to Verint Experience Management. This role is also the managing editor of the XM blog. This person is an equally great writer and editor; and can write in different voices depending on the medium, the target audience, or the target persona.

Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:

  • Develop outstanding short and long form content including Verint’s quarterly research reports (the Verint Experience Index series), editorial and byline articles, blog posts, email nurture campaigns, client case studies and other written material.

  • Ensure content is on-brand, consistent in tone, and complies with SEO best practices.

  • Keep pace with Verint XM marketing activities and frequent integrated campaigns; play key role in creating content to support marketing and sales goals

  • Manage the XM blog: includes establishing content calendar, managing to deadlines for 3-5 posts/week; working with other contributors to draft or edit posts; ownership of WordPress publishing, and growing readership

  • Review keyword strategies for our customers so that content incorporates targeted keywords which optimize search engine results

  • Build and scale content strategy for technical capabilities to raise awareness and engage IT buyers with differentiated messaging, sales tools, digital assets, and success stories.

  • Monitor and engage in relevant social discussions about our company, competitors, and work closely with PR to drive brand narratives and position us as a thought leader

  • Collaborate with demand gen, go to market, and customer success to leverage and optimize marketing opportunities.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism marketing or equivalent year's of work experience.

  • 6+ years of marketing experience preferably in content, solution, or product marketing in a B2B technology company.

  • High technical aptitude to act as the company solutions expert on its more technical offerings and capabilities, the market and the associated competition. Ability to translate technical capabilities into customer benefits for internal and external audiences is critical.

  • Ability to easily between solution-based and technical messaging for different audiences such as sales, customer success teams, and professional service teams.

  • An experienced storyteller with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Skilled at developing content ranging from bite-sized to long form, including a solid understanding of SEO.

  • Exceptional communications skills, with the ability to communicate and present effectively to multiple levels across the organization in both one-on-one and group settings.

  • Efficiently work with and leverage various technology platforms to maximize effectiveness; proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook Teams), marketing automation tools and SharePoint online.

  • Up to 15% travel required.

  • Successful completion of a background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC, SS Verification, as well as credit and drug screening, where applicable and in accordance with federal and local regulations.

  • The ability to obtain the necessary credit line required to travel.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience in Cloud Software.

  • Experience with CX portfolio solutions and customer engagement technology.

  • Social media marketing experience.

  • Journalistic experience.

  • Working knowledge of Wrike (or similar project management platform),WordPress and Eloqua.
