Position Summary
Carson Tahoe Health is actively recruiting a Hematologist/Oncologist to our Carson Tahoe Cancer Center in order to better support the communities we serve. Our 35,000 square foot freestanding facility in Carson City, Nevada includes full-time medical and radiation oncology practices, an ambulatory infusion center with stunning views of the Eagle Valley, and extensive support services. Additionally, Carson Tahoe’s comprehensive Breast Center (https://www.carsontahoe.com/breastcenter.html) , located inside Sierra Surgery (https://www.carsontahoe.com/carson_tahoe_sierra_surgery.html) , offers patients a seamless integration of preventive, diagnostic, imaging and surgical services in support of early detection and treatment of breast cancer. For those who need additional healing and medical support,Carson Tahoe Health System is a non-profit organization nestled in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains and serving a population of over 250,00 with includes Lake Tahoe/Eastern California as well as Northern Nevada. Our state of the art facilities consist of two hospitals, two urgent cares and a network of 20 regional locations.

Qualifications
MD or DO
Board Certified or Board Eligible
Nevada License or ability to obtain Nevada license, DEA, Pharmacy license
Team player with great Interpersonal and communication skills
Computer skills to effectively utilize Electronic Medical Records

2.5 Physicians, 2 APC's
2 F/T Nurse Navigators
1 F/T Nutritionist
In house pharmacy
Onsite lab is aross the street
Realistic patient per day expectations 15-18
Reasonable call rotation requirements ; telephone only 1:3
Monday thru Friday, 8-5 with NO night or weekend clinics
