Extensive knowledge in all Naval Range support automation systems. Develop detailed annual requirements for targets and target materials. Identify and order associated target building equipment. Research, order, receive, deliver, and store all target materials. Construct modular target preparation construction sites at remote training areas. Construct realistic replication of enemy target sites, with adequate notification and specific guidance. Construct and or replace entry breach points damaged during recurring training evolutions. Provide on scene support to include assistance during NSW training. Assist in the clean up of all non dud-producing ranges following training. General knowledge in construction skills - carpentry, framing, block, electrical, plumbing, roofing, welding, metal cutting and heavy construction operations. Read and interpret plans, instructions, and specifications to determine work activities. Applicant must have extensive knowledge and will be expected to perform repair and maintenance of all Range sites and equipment. Extensive knowledge in all areas of shipping, receiving, storage, and issuing of all classes of government supplies. Full understanding of joint military logistics. The physical requirements of this position are classified as heavy to very heavy; with frequent or constant lifting in excess of 50 pounds and the occasional basis of a maximum of 100 pounds. The physical demands analysis and assessment of assigned and potential daily duties require extensive bending, stooping, and physical labor. Further, this position requires prolonged sitting posture during the operation of automation machinery. It also requires the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) – steel toed shoes, safety glasses, hard hats, and respirators.

Basic Qualifications Knowledge and license for forklifts, Class A or B CDL license, 15 ton truck, back hoe, front end loader, bob cat, bulldozer, cherry picker, dump truck, welding and other metal fabrication experience. Possess an understanding and moderate level of proficiency of the entire Microsoft Office Suite including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Power Point. Conducts technical analysis for product implementations, modifications and enhancements to product in accordance with specific customer specifications and implementations. Troubleshoots technical problems and issues, determines technical solution in accordance with product and customer specifications, and recommends actions to company or customer representatives for coordinative product solution. Assesses product needs in accordance with customer specifications. Conducts technical training and product briefing with customers, vendors and company representatives. Acts as local on-site representative to customer’s organization. Ability to obtain a secret security clearance, therefore all candidates must be a US Citizen.

Desired skills Already has Department of Defense Secret Clearance. Knowledge of applicable Navy directives (e.g. MIL-HDBK 1027/3B, NAVSEA OP-5, AR 385-63) for compliance and safety. Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
