Positions in this function include those responsible for running daily and weekly data integrity reports. Perform quality checks to proactively and retrospectively identify case errors related to adherence with compliance standards. Assist in design/development of new operational reports. Assist in maintenance/revisions of existing operational reports. Provide operational analysis utilized for decision making. May make recommendations based on the analysis, and provide explanations for reporting results as needed. Share findings with leadership for process improvement.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conducting research on causes of compliance related case errors

  • Accessing Reporting Portal to retrieve information to identify potential/actual errors

  • Accessing Administrative Tool to identify Web Based Case submission delays/errors

  • Performing analysis of authorization/referral based data on requests submitted through Sharepoint from leadership team

  • Assisting with creating and running queries to retrieve appropriate data sets

  • Knowledge of the full referral/authorization lifecycle from submission, error resolution, through final determination/output

  • Presentation of findings through ad hoc and standardized reports as requested by internal teams and clients

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED

  • Proficiency with MS Excel

  • 1+ years of experience in Utilization/Medical Management (Prior Authorizations)

  • Previous reporting experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with MS Access Database

  • Prior experience with SQL or SQL Assist

  • Bachelor's Degree
