It is the primary responsibility of the Attraction attendant to perform a variety of duties regarding the safe operation of the Manhattan Express Roller Coaster and Games Operator. ​Give the highest level of customer service to internal and external guests.

  • Greet guest at the ride entrance, take tickets, and assign guests to a row.

  • Enforce height restriction policies.

  • Ensure that all personal items are placed in lockers and not allowed on the ride.

  • Ensure restraints are properly set, locked, and that all guests are seated properly.

  • Dispatch trains and operate ride control panels.

  • Assist in the loading and unloading of Manhattan Express Roller Coaster passengers.

  • Make safety announcements over audio system.

  • Instruct guests during evacuation, if necessary.

  • Perform opening duties including: setting up stations in queue area, turning on all video monitors, and setting up all Manhattan Express Roller Coaster signage.

  • Perform daily maintenance and wipe down trains for the day.

  • Perform all duties deemed necessary for the success of the department.

  • Follow all safety rules and regulations mandated by Clark County.

  • Communicate rider policies and restrictions to our guests.

  • Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude while working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

  • Perform all other job related duties as requested.


  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • Ability to perform basic math skills.

  • Ability to climb to extreme heights in hot and cold weather.

  • Mobility, prolonged standing, and bending.

  • Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.

  • Professional appearance and demeanor.

  • Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

  • Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.


  • Previous guest service experience.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
