It is the primary responsibility of the Attraction attendant to perform a variety of duties regarding the safe operation of the Manhattan Express Roller Coaster and Games Operator. Give the highest level of customer service to internal and external guests.
Greet guest at the ride entrance, take tickets, and assign guests to a row.
Enforce height restriction policies.
Ensure that all personal items are placed in lockers and not allowed on the ride.
Ensure restraints are properly set, locked, and that all guests are seated properly.
Dispatch trains and operate ride control panels.
Assist in the loading and unloading of Manhattan Express Roller Coaster passengers.
Make safety announcements over audio system.
Instruct guests during evacuation, if necessary.
Perform opening duties including: setting up stations in queue area, turning on all video monitors, and setting up all Manhattan Express Roller Coaster signage.
Perform daily maintenance and wipe down trains for the day.
Perform all duties deemed necessary for the success of the department.
Follow all safety rules and regulations mandated by Clark County.
Communicate rider policies and restrictions to our guests.
Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude while working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Perform all other job related duties as requested.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to perform basic math skills.
Ability to climb to extreme heights in hot and cold weather.
Mobility, prolonged standing, and bending.
Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.
Previous guest service experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
