As a full service insurance agency we offer a variety of insurance and insurance-related products, including general liability, property, auto, worker’s compensation (including excess worker’s compensation), and self-insured programs. Additionally, we offer services such as bonds, life, health and personal insurance.

As a Business Development Associate , you will identify and cultivate new prospects from networking, events throughout the year, strategic partners, as well as direct prospecting efforts by phone and on-line resources like LinkedIn. You will work with our dynamic sales team to grow the book of business. Sales coaching and mentoring will be in the forefront of training.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate must have a strong desire to succeed. Our Associates come from a variety of backgrounds and industries.

  • Prior experience working with customers and providing an exceptional experience.

  • Sales experience including inside sales, outside sales, or retail sales is a plus.

  • Steady work history and the commitment to starting a new career.

  • Outgoing personality with expertise at developing relationships.

  • Excellent appearance, verbal/written communication, strong negotiation and presentation skills.

  • Must possess the ability to ask for the sale and follow through.

  • Open to learning and practicing our sales and follow-up process.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Must have or obtain NV Life and Health License within 6 months of employment.

  • Have basic computer knowledge and skills to navigate a CRM platform.

  • Have reliable transportation to ensure punctuality to meetings/appointments are made.
