Latitude, Inc. Cable Technician in Las Vegas, Nevada
We are in need of several Cable Technicians to support FBI locations.
The position will start at the end of July, 2020.
Candidates must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance, or already have one.
Pay: 20-22/hr, with a daily per diem depending on location
Responsibilities:
Build environment of all needed telecom networks. This may include: WANS, LANS, and CATV
Install, terminate, test, and label structured cabling for voice and data
Run, pull, stop, and splice fiber and copper optic cables; CAT5, CAT6, SE, fiber, low voltage cables
Mount telecom equipment
Arrange and/or assist in installation of routers and hub
Install and build support structures. This may include: racks, j-hooks, ladders, and switches
Install surveillance cameras
Install access control systems
Install, terminate and troubleshoot Fiber Optic using ST and SC connectors
Confirm and verify all cable pathways
Install cable supports and pull network cable pathways
Test and troubleshoot copper installations
Troubleshoot and regulate cable AV issues
Install and regulate IP devices, as well as terminating phone jacks, audio, and distribution frames
Ability to mount and install backboards, cross connects, rack, and patch panels
Ability to route cables through cubicles
Skills/Requirements:
Must have 2+ years of experience
Must have experience with: Running, pulling, stoping and splicing fiber and copper optic cables; CAT5, CAT6, SE, fiber, low voltage cables
