The Food and Beverage Cashier operates and manages the POS system including all monetary/credit transactions. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices, and procedures.
Accurately process all checks, ensure all monies are accounted for in the proper manner and according to Mandalay departmental requirements
Manages the delivery and measurement of guest service consistent with the company’s core service standards and brand attributes.
Provide excellent interpersonal service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor, ability to manage multiple tasks and remain calm in a very high-paced and stressful environment and maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude and ability to deal effectively with guests, management employees and outside contact while working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
Provide excellent customer service according to Mandalay Bay Core Service Standards
Sort Media according to Hotel Standards
Ensures all safety requirements are followed within the area and on any equipment
Maintain assigned banks and transport bank from satellite cage to work station and back.
Maintain and clean organized workstation, and restock supplies upon delivery.
Report any failing equipment to Supervisor on duty.
Completes all required training
Attends all required departmental meetings
Performs all other job related duties as requested.
At least 6 months of experience in an F&B outlet or similar environment.
Excellent customer service skills.
Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.
- Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
