Controller

job summary:

Tatum has been retained by a Nevada-based client for a Controller search. The Controller will be responsible for management reporting, planning, and accounting support for a fast-growing business. Working with the global management team, travel will be expected to the other national and international sites.

responsibilities:

• Manage a small accounting team

• Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements

• Complete balance sheet reconciliation

• Hyperion lead

• Budgeting and forecasting

• Month end close process

• Product costing analysis and capital expenditure projects

• Inventory review

qualifications:

• Finance or Accounting Degree

• Public Accounting, Operational Finance, and Private Equity experience preferred

• Experience in manufacturing and/or similar industries

• Must be extremely competent in cost accounting, data mining and ERP systems

• Quick Books, Solomon and Hyperion system experience a plus

• Potentially 25% - 50% throughout year

• Knowledge of MS Excel (V look ups, pivot tables), Word, and Outlook, and the ability to multi-task with moderate supervision
