  • High School graduate or equivalent

  • Two years of experience as a line cook or equivalent formal training

  • Ability to work varying hours, including weekends and holidays


  • Maintain the standards set by the Dining Facility Manager

  • Confer with the Dining Facility Manager regarding the methods, quantities and procedures used in the preparation of food items

  • Maintain production schedules to insure both timely service and quality of product

  • Observe and implement all approved sanitation practices

  • Oversee that deliveries from purveyors coincide with the purchase order

  • Reports any unsafe or unsanitary conditions in the kitchen or dining room

  • Provide coverage and supervision of clients in the absences of the Dining Facility Manager

  • Provide the Dining Facility Manager with input regarding clients work therapy assignment evaluations

  • Other duties as assigned by the Dining Facility Manager

to operate a telephone, desktop or laptop computer, as well as the ability to access and produce information from a computer, and to understand written information.
