Robert Half International Director of Financial Reporting in Las Vegas, Nevada

Description

Adam Wood with Robert Half Finance and Accounting is assisting an established and growing materials and mining organization with their search for a Director of Financial Reporting with broad and diverse responsibility for day-to-day administration and tactical execution of financial reporting for the SEC and other regulatory agencies, and lenders. The Director of Financial Reporting will be accountable and responsible for the entire scope of financial reporting and related responsibilities, including equity plan administration and all related reporting, technical accounting (draft memo's and whitepapers), earnings releases and proxy information, and debt offering support and related proformas. The Director of Financial Reporting will work with and support executive leadership and other internal stakeholders as needed, will be the primary liaison for and with external auditors and work closely with internal audit. The Director of Financial Reporting will have a desire to learn and grow and perhaps innovate - bring fresh ideas on ways to improve processes and find better ways to do routine tasks. Requirements

Interested candidates should meet the following minimum requirements: (i) bachelor's or advanced degree in accounting or finance; (ii) CPA with 3-5+ years of public accounting experience, big 4 preferred; and (iii) 3-5+ years of corporate financial reporting and technical accounting management/leadership experience.
