We are seeking a District Manager to drive our shops to achieve new levels of greatness! District Managers play an integral role in Drybar’s growth strategy. They serve as inspiring leaders to their teams of Shop Managers, coaching and developing them to grow themselves and their businesses. Leadership: As a District Manager, you will oversee several Drybar locations, modelling leadership for your Shop Managers and all hourly team members. We expect all of our District Managers to lead by example, often rolling up their sleeves to pitch in where needed. Our District Managers always go the extra mile to ensure that their teams have everything required to be successful.
Development: Our District Managers can best be described as: mentors, coaches, and inspirational. They guide our Shop Managers and team members to achieve company and personal objectives. P&L Responsibility: Know your numbers! Our District Managers have ultimate P&L responsibility for each of their shop locations. They work to drive sales and manage costs to ensure that each location is meeting their sales and their financial goals on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. District Managers analyze trends, forecast for the business, and are obsessed with year-over-year results.
HR & Employee Relations: We wouldn’t be where we are today without the dedication of our incredible employees, who are more like family than coworkers. Our District Manager ensures that our family is taken care of and feel like they are welcomed into our family. District Managers are experts in new hire paperwork, onboarding, benefits, leaves, and any employee relations cases. They work hard to make sure our employees have a great place to come to work and that they are safe.
Client Relations: Whether a woman is a loyal barfly or just stopping by for her first Drybar experience, our District Managers ensure that she is treated to the perfect blowout every time. Go above and beyond to provide the highest level of service, anticipating their every need. We expect District Managers to be actively on the floor engaging with our customers so that they can set a great example for their teams.
Implement Policies & Procedures: District Managers ensure that all policies and procedures are implemented in their shops. They are the absolute expert in how our business should run and are a resource to their teams. They inspire their teams to embrace any improvements to our growing business and help to swiftly implement corporate initiatives.
Store Sanitation & State Board Standards: Our clients love our beautiful shops and our District Managers ensure that each shop is up to cleanliness and State Board standards. District Manager is synonymous with Mr. or Ms. Clean- they know all the tricks to keep our shops in tip top shape, ensuring the Drybar experience is enjoyable each and every time.
3+ years’ experience in multi-unit management
3+ years’ experience in beauty, hospitality, restaurant, or retail industries strongly preferred
Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
Previous salon management experience and a Cosmetology License are preferred, but not required
Demonstrated ability to develop and lead a team that drives results
Proven ability to manage multiple business priorities
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels, especially when communicating from distance
Successful track record talent recruitment, selection, development and promotion
Proven ability to create an open and positive work environment
Strong customer service orientation and an obsession with creating the perfect client experience
A strong eye for detail and operational excellence
Shifts Available: Friday, Monday, Saturday, Sunday, Thursday, Tuesday, Wednesday
