It is the primary responsibility for the Engineer to proactively perform routine and complex preventative maintenance and repair work on all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and paint duties for the T-Mobile Arena. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental policies, practices and procedures.
Maintain, overhaul and repair of ammonia based Cimco Plant.
Maintain, overhaul and repair of large scale refrigeration and HVAC systems.
Performs maintenance and repairs on all mechanical and electrical systems throughout the venue.
Repairs of plumbing and associated equipment i.e., toilet replacement, snake stopped drains, repair leaks in piping, faucets and drains.
Maintains water treatment of boilers, water softeners and closed loop systems.
Performs repairs of wall finishes including wallpaper, paint and faux finishes.
Performs carpentry repairs as needed including wall, ceiling and door repairs.
Performs maintenance and repairs of refrigeration and ice machines.
Performs maintenance and repairs of pumps and pressurized water systems.
Performs additional job duties as determined by management.
Maintains logbooks and completes admin duties as required.
Ensures that all equipment and work areas are kept clean, neat and orderly at all times.
Keeps informed and updated on current techniques and technical methods.
Operates skyjack, forklift, scissor lift and any other heavy equipment.
Maintains a constant awareness of safety and accident prevention.
Other job related duties as requested.
At least 3 years of facilities maintenance experience.
Demonstrated expertise in the maintenance, overhaul and repair of ammonia based refrigeration systems.
Excellent customer service skills.
Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.
Bilingual, English as the primary or secondary language.
Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
