The Role

As an Escrow Officer at OS National, you will help customers through the critical steps of the escrow process, guiding customers and agents through the necessary steps to successfully close on time. We believe in treating our customers like our family; going above and beyond to help them transact the most important financial decision of their lives.

As an Escrow Officer at OS National, you will:

  • Educate and guide customers through the escrow process responding within hours to questions via email and phone.

  • Work closely with the support teams to ensure each transaction is set up for a successful closing.

  • Support the purchase or sale of hundreds of homes monthly working closely with customers and agents on both sides of the transaction to deliver a seamless closing experience.

  • Work closely with a world-class operations team to rapidly build better process, tools and metrics.

  • Oversee the issuance of checks, bills and statements, receipts, and any other documents needed to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Collect all taxes due, HOA dues, and any delinquencies and/or principal and interest.

  • Ensure all payoffs have been collected, mailed, delivered or wired according to instructions.

  • Verify against the HUD statement that all disbursements have been paid correctly

To be successful in this role, you must be confident, reliable, have a high level of patience, along with the ability to be empathetic.



  • Bachelor’s degree is a plus and/or Law Certification is a definite plus.

  • 1-3+ years of real estate experience is ideal; however, we will consider candidates with a customer service background in a high-volume environment as well.

  • Possess knowledge of legal documents with the ability to analyze and evaluate documents as it relates to closings is a must.

  • Research experience in county recorder websites and other pertinent software solutions required.

  • Software Experience in Ramquest and Resware is strongly desired. Candidates with software experience in Softpro, LandTech, or similar will be considered as well.

  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment coupled with the ability to effectively communicate internally and externally

  • Must be able to multi-task and define where manageable tasks begin and end.

  • Ability to prioritize with an eye towards

  • completion and/or handoff

  • Must have excellent problem-solving capability, analytical abilities and critical thinking skills.
