U.S. Bank Fleet Merchant Sales – Key Accounts in Las Vegas, Nevada

The Fleet Merchant Sales Rep for Key Accounts can be a home based position anywhere in the USA. Responsibilities include:

  1. Develops profitable business account relationships and increased profitability from existing and new accounts.

  2. Identifies business opportunities based on knowledge of clients, markets, products and services.

  3. Makes sales presentations to existing and/or prospective clients informing them of benefits of using the organization's products and services to meet their needs.

  4. Implements and maintains an effective referral network and call program to promote sales.


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • Three to five years of financial sales experience

  • Ability to travel (local, regional, national)

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Well-developed sales and new business development skills, including the development of sales strategies and goals and closing skills

  • Thorough knowledge of unit payment products

  • Thorough knowledge of the organization and its products, services and operations

  • Thorough knowledge of Fleet or Retail Vehicle Maintenance facility operations, process, and procedures.

  • Demonstrated history supporting establishment and maintenance of a merchant network specifically targeted to the fleet or fueling industry

  • Demonstrated history supporting merchant relationships from a processing perspective.

  • Thorough knowledge of Credit Card or merchant acquiring best practices, policies, and procedures.

  • Thorough knowledge of product marketing, client service issues, and organization operations

  • Strong marketing, negotiation and decision-making skills

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

  • Strong customer service/relation skills with ability to creatively resolve client concerns and issues

  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, verbal and written communication skills

  • Good understanding of basic accounting principles related to financial transactions
