We are aiming to find a skilled Full Charge Bookkeeper for our client in the LNG - Liquid Natural Gas industry. In this role, the Full Charge Bookkeeper will direct journal entries, month-end close, cash flow, financial statement preparation, audit, full cycle A/P, payroll, and bank reconciliations. The clerical staff will address any concerns to the Full Charge Bookkeeper. Accounting professional who thrives under tight deadlines with minimal supervision this could be the Bookkeeper role for you if you are self-driven and organized. This full-time employment opportunity is based in the Las Vegas, Nevada area.

What you get to do every single day

• Guide monthly accounting close

• Formulate monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents

• Index budget transfers

• Supplementary assignments when necessary

• Set up subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement

• Well-versed in credit card management and reconciliation

• Draw up cash flow projections, as needed

• Business license and gross receipts reporting

• Assemble sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments

• Manage Accounts Payable

• Regulate Accounts Receivable

• Create cash account journal entries including loans, taxes, bank fees, 401(k) deductions, etc.

Requirements

• Previous accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred

• Excellent verbal, written, and social skills

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and vendor management skills

• Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines

• Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges

• BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business-related field preferred

• Month-end Journal Entries experience highly preferred

• Practical knowledge of Billing Functions

• General familiarity with Journal Entry Preparation

• Good understanding of Posting Journal Entries

• Prior experience with Monthly Bank Reconciliation

• Corporate Credit Card experience desired

• General familiarity with Billing Collection

• Adeptness in Credit Cards

• Demonstrated knowledge of billing

• Hands-on experience with bank reconciliations

• Demonstrated knowledge of Journal Entry

• Foundational knowledge in general ledger

• Company Credit Card experience preferred

• Adeptness in Adjusting Journal Entries

• Deep understanding of Credit Card Deposits

• Experience with Review Journal Entries

• Practical knowledge of Ledger Journal Entries

• Accounts Receivable (AR) experience required

• Foundational knowledge in Credit Card Reconciliation

• Credit Card Statements experience highly desired

• Experience with journal entries

• Previous experience working with Prepare Journal Entries

• Record Journal Entries experience highly valued

• Earlier work involving Post Journal Entries

• Comprehension of Recurring Journal Entries

• Knowledge of Credit Card Charges

• Background working with Monthly Journal Entries

• Accounts Payable (AP) experience

• Strong familiarity with payroll

• Be detailed, flexible, and organized

  • 5+ years of related experience- Highly organized and self-motivated

• Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment
