About our team: the Medicaid Product and Programs team is responsible for leading the strategy and execution of new programs and services that support Medicaid members in ensuring that Anthem has a portfolio of leading differentiators around capabilities and innovations that sets us apart from our competitors while supporting growth and retention. In addition to executing a strategy for new programs and taking it through execution, the team is responsible for implementation while delivering expected outcomes to meet a defined value proposition. The Product Management Director will be responsible for leading the strategy for new programs and services that meet that need working with growth directors, business development and shared partners to address gaps and opportunities for new programs.
We are seeking candidates with proven experience specifically in developing consumer or provider programs that address SDOH needs, to include but not limited to food insecurity, housing, transportation and employment supports.
Additionally, we seek candidates with experience in evaluating and implementing vendor solutions to include digital consumer facing programs.
Primary duties to include, but are not limited to:
Develops, implements, and maintains innovative, competitive and effective programs to support the Medicaid product.
Partners with business owners and leads project teams to achieve superior execution of product and program strategy in the marketplace.
Stays informed and analyses impacts of competitive and market forces to our product strategies.
Leads ideation sessions, develops program and product models and playbooks, and drafts implementation plans.
Tracks individual product and program performance by benefit design, market segment and geography.
Supports the development of short and long-term strategic product plans in support of business objectives.
Identifies system needs to support short and long-term product strategy.
Lead project teams in the implementation of regional and company-wide initiatives including legislative changes, network/provider changes/ medical management program and policy initiatives, new value add benefits, etc.
Requires a BA/BS degree; 5-8 years of product management experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. MBA preferred. Experience in Implementations, project management, and account management preferred. Knowledge of Medicaid Programs required. Demonstrated results in three or more of the following areas required:
Product and Program Development to include: ideation, model and playbook design, implementation, and management.
Experience in developing consumer or provider programs that address SDOH needs, to include but not limited to food insecurity, housing, transportation and employment supports.
Experience in evaluating and implementing vendor solutions to include digital consumer facing programs.
This associate may work remote in any location within 50 miles of an Anthem office
