PCI is seeking a Project Controller for its Las Vegas Interior operations based in Las Vegas, NV. This individual will be held responsible for contributing to all aspects of budgeting, ledger review, labor control and monthly managers’ reports for a large-scale commercial construction project for up to 24 months. This position is full-time hourly with potential for transfer to salary based on performance.
Help develop project budgets and forecasts.
Prepare results of variance analysis.
Ensure accuracy of Inventory Status and Fixed Assets.
Work with project personnel on daily, weekly, and monthly project analysis reports and manager’s reports.
Attend and participate in branch meetings including staff meetings, CIP meetings, pre-job set-up meetings and progress meetings (25%, 50%, 75%, project review meetings)
Contribute to the maintenance of Contracts in Progress sub ledger for the project
Ensure project is correctly billed by contract terms and conditions monthly.
Preparation of monthly billing package.
Reconcile contract amounts and verify actual estimated projected costs.
Assist in tracking, logging and reconciliation of daily labor hours and productions.
Ensure accuracy of material & equipment deliveries and associated payables documentation.
Manage and produce ledger entries for the project.
At least 1-3 years of experience in accounting and reconciliation
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
Minimum Requirements :
Must possess advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and an ability to learn new industry/company-specific systems
Ability to multitask and stay organized required
Ability to effectively work in a team environment required
Superb oral and written communication skills required
Ability to take initiative and utilize a proactive approach required
Ability to prioritize required
Ability to show close attention to detail required
Ability to learn new job skills my engaging in technical aspects of the job and applying new skills as they are taught
Experience in the construction industry preferred
Willing to travel, as required
