Treasure Island, LLC RETAIL LIAISON (FULL TIME) in Las Vegas, Nevada
The primary role of the Retail Liaison is to operate the retail department as a profitable business under the direction of the store sourcing team to include the director of purchasing and the senior buyer. While in this role, you will act as the main communicator from upper management to the rest of the retail department. This role will maintain an engaged and productive team by demonstrating initiative, possess strong leadership and communication skills, and executes duties with the highest level of accountability while taking ownership of results. All duties are to be performed under company policies and procedures with adherence to state and federal laws and regulations for the needs of the business. Must be able to meet attendance guidelines.
Specific Job Functons:
Lead others and maintain a high level of collaboration in and out of the department
Develop a highly engaged, valued and effective team through observations, coaching, feedback sessions, and commendations
Deliver results by building a strong relationship with team and following through on commitments
Support innovative ways to improve work efficiency from team
Mediate grievances and problems with and between team members
Assign and delegate tasks to assistants and other team members with follow up for completion to include scheduling, loss prevention, and development of staff
Effectively communicate information to and from buyers and team members in a timely manner
Promote a guest focused culture at all times while actively upselling when on the sales floor
Lead Team Talks every shift
Maintain cost-effective procedures for operations including labor management, service/supply costs, and inventory control
Analyze the business through company generated reports as well as other computer programs identifying opportunities of underperforming areas to improve and propose ideas that will increase profitability performance over all
Identify drivers of over performing product classes while establishing and tracking monthly goals
Trouble shoot register problems
Oversee execution of opening/closing checklist procedures according to dept. standards
Delegate priorities to team members and follow up in a timely manner verifying task completion
Perform inventory management duties (transfers) between stores and warehouses to ensure adequate levels for purchase and to help move short dated product to higher volume stores to have better sale through
Lead and assist physical inventory prep and counts
Cover callouts for Coordinator shifts as well as Stock Host and Sales Associate shifts for the needs of the business which is to include operating the POS
Process salvages and vendor credits as per company SOP’s in a timely manner
Preform all duties as requested for departmental success
Ensure retail outlets are clean and neat meeting standards; assisting with visual merchandising
At least five years experience in retail sales preferred
At least one year in a management position required
Must have professional appearance and demeanor
