Treasure Island, LLC RETAIL MANAGER (FULL TIME) in Las Vegas, Nevada
It is the primary responsibility of the Retail Manager to operate the retail stores as a profitable business under the direction of the Director of Retail and ensure excellent customer service while directing the staff training and development. All duties are to be performed in accordance with federal and state laws and regulations as well as department and company policies, practices, and procedures.
Specific Job Functions:
Promote a customer-focused approach to meeting the customer’s objectives
Practice effective cost control procedures for all operating, maintenance, and supply costs
Oversee store employees and their activities including schedules, time-off requests, commendations and disciplinary actions
Assist with proper merchandising execution to maximize sales, earnings, and customer satisfaction
Assist in developing floor standards, visual merchandising, customer service standards, and sales techniques
Ensure retail stores are neatly arranged and meet retail standards
Analyze the store business through company generated reports
Effectively communicate business needs with property and corporate staff and executives
Prepare a store layout and effectively conduct store inventory and cycle counts
Enforce established policies, procedures, and job standards
Train store employees in all store activities, policies and procedures
Manage and support the staff career development process
Perform all duties deemed necessary for the success of the department
A minimum of two years previous retail management experience required
One year of retail sales experience preferred
Must demonstrate knowledge of business analysis, staffing, training, and inventory control
Must have a professional appearance and demeanor
