Responsible for administrative support to a sales force.

Please note: This position may be filled at the Sales Assistant I, II, or III level. The Hiring Manager will determine level based upon the selected applicant's skillset relative to the qualifications listed for this position.

Sales Assistant I – 1-3 years of experience

Sales Assistant II – 3-4 years of experience

Sales Assistant III – 4+ years of experience

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Types, files, faxes, provides phone support and processes mail.

  • Prepares and logs proposals.

  • Maintains supplies.

  • Researches and resolves routine sales, claims and benefit issues.

  • Assembles and distributes open enrollment packets.

  • Gathers, inputs, and tracks sales data.

  • Generates sales reports.

  • Reviews incoming request for proposals from Sales and/or Brokers for eligibility and participation requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent; 1-4 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

  • Incumbent must be highly organized, detail oriented and possess the ability to complete things accurately and on time.

  • Ability to multi-task while working in a fast-paced environment required.
