To provide high quality hair service. To service all customers according to Company and departmental standards and policies and procedures.
Performs haircuts, perms, color and highlighting services, blow dry/style, roller sets, shampooing/conditioning.
Provides positive service standards including but not limited to courtesy, sincerity and enthusiasm to all guests.
Conducts consultations with clients.
Maintains a clean and safe work environment for guests and employees.
Stocks and restocks hair station and back bar with necessary supplies.
Utilizes excellent customer service skills to establish rapport with guests.
Adheres to the policies and procedures of the Beauty Salon Department.
Attends meetings and/or training sessions scheduled by Spa Director and supervisor.
Performs other responsibilities as requested by the Spa Director and supervisor.
Work in a fast-paced and busy environment.
Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude and ability to deal effectively with guests and management.
Good attendance, a "positive" attitude, team player skills are a must.
Excellent communication skills.
Adhere to State Board Rules and Regulations
At least 1 year experience as a hairstylist in a spa/salon or similar position or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Current Cosmetologist license, as issued by the State Board of Cosmetology.
Excellent customer service skills.
Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.
- Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
