PRIMARY PURPOSE:

MGM Resorts International, a Global Leader in Entertainment, Hospitality and Casino Gaming is embarking on a journey to re-imagine, re-design and re- launch its Loyalty Program, positioning it as a leader amongst its peers and driving substantial value to MGM Resorts International, our customers and stakeholders. The Vice President Loyalty Marketing will be responsible for driving the strategy and overall customer experience of MGM’s loyalty program. In this role, you will be responsible for increasing membership and database growth and resulting revenue, profit and LTV built upon world class acquisition, retention and customer engagement strategies. We are seeking the ideal candidate for our Vice President Loyalty Marketing who will bring their diverse experience in Loyalty Marketing, Innovation, Leadership, Partnership development and collaboration to drive organizational engagement and alignment leading to demonstrable value consistently delivered to Loyalty Program Members.

All duties are performed in accordance with departmental and MGM Resorts International policies, practices and procedures.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee the development of MGM’s Loyalty Program strategies that generate incremental spend and profitability as a result of new member acquisition, retention, enhanced customer loyalty, share of wallet and increase brand awareness

  • Drive a holistic customer acquisition approach leveraging multiple channels – conventional resorts, online casino operations, online sports operations, and strategic partnerships; Evaluate and make recommendations on opportunities to expand MGM’s loyalty program beyond its current construct, appealing to customers across all business verticals – casino, hotel, food and beverage, entertainment, nightlife, retail and external partners

  • Develop, optimize and manage core components of MGM’s Loyalty Program – Tier Credits, Tier thresholds, Earn / Burn mechanics, currencies, rewards, benefits, digital experiences, and partnerships. Partner closely with analytics teams to forecast and analyze key customer loyalty program statistics and trends, including the program P&L

  • Collaborate closely with internal cross-functional teams, including direct marketing, brand marketing and media to position MGM’s Loyalty Program and maximize customer awareness, acquisition and engagement; Collaborate closely with external partner teams to operationalize the Loyalty Program, including its rewards, benefits, experiences, and constructs

  • Develop Loyalty Marketing Programs and promotions that drive member engagement and spend including new member on boarding and engagement programs built around the entire MGM Resorts International Loyalty program value proposition and benefits across the customer lifecycle and Loyalty Member Customer Journeys and commensurate strategies around the loyalty member digital experience

  • Partner with MGM’s Product and Information Technology departments on the design of MGM Resort International’s Loyalty Technology platform to digitally deliver highly personalized and targeted Loyalty Program experiences

  • Develop, maintain and grow an extensive partnership network that drive significant value to MGM’s Loyalty program members including the development of new program ideas and member enhancements as well as ensure business requirements and use cases are documented

  • Perform other job-related duties as requested

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, or equivalent experience

  • Six (6) years of senior level experience in marketing at Fortune 500 companies; or equivalent experience

  • Previous experience of working within a large matrixed organization

PREFERRED:

  • Master's Degree in a related field

  • Previous experience running a loyalty program for a Fortune 500 retailer, airline or hospitality company
