Cleans bathroom (which include: removing soiled terry and replenishing with clean terry, cleans tub, walls, floor, toilet, vanity, mirror, fixtures, removes trash, and replenish supplies). Cleans living area (which include: dusting furniture, removing trash, cleaning doors and spots on walls, cleaning mirrors, replenishing supplies, and vacuuming the room. Fill out pertinent information on maid sheet (which include: room status (P.M.) and linen usage for each room (see attached). Will perform specified extensive cleaning (general cleaning) in assigned rooms. Inputs room status of all rooms in telephone system upon completion. Makes notes as to which rooms were general cleaned each day and which room's bedspreads were changed. Responsible for taking physical room checks (P.M.) Signs in/out with floor supervisor and accepts master keys. Responsible for keeping maid carts clean and neat on a daily basis. Ensures all Lost & Found items are placed in a bag and articles turned over to supervisor as soon as possible. Responsible for loading and transporting cart to and from work station for use throughout the shift.Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:NoneQUALIFICATIONS: No experience necessary, must understand and speak in English.Minimum age requirement is 18.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: GED High School Diploma MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:NONELANGUAGE SKILLS:Must be able to speak and understand English.PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Constantly remembering/paying attention to/observing detail, working rapidly, making decisions, standing, walking (unlimited distances throughout the day), pulls/pushes (maid cart: approximately 125lbs, beds: approximately 10lbs, vacuums: approximately 20lbs, chairs: approximately 15lbs throughout the day), bends, stoops, grasps, lifts (linen approximately 10lbs unlimited times throughout the day), reaches, wrist motion and twists while making beds, cleaning bathrooms and living areas, general cleaning, vacuuming, straightening and loading of maid carts, clean bathrooms and living areas, making notes of room repairs, room information (status and linen count), general cleaning of rooms, inputting room status into hotel phone system, notes of rooms receiving general cleaning and bedspreads being changed, PM room checks, signing in/out master keys, straightening and loading of maid carts.
