Bachelor’s degree in related field and at least 5 years of professional level experience or equivalent training and experience.
Computer skills with software applications such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and skills to input and retrieve data from Oracle systems.
Experience and proficiency with material management, property management, procurement, or inventory systems.
Experience with scheduling and customer service in a dynamic environment.
Ability to work with various craft groups, outside agencies, customers/sponsors, suppliers as required to administer projects and programs effectively.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and communicate in a professional positive manner with all levels of employees and management during very busy and frequent stressful situations.
Ability to exercise considerable discretion and judgment in performing work and conducting evaluations of operation/process effectiveness.
Must be able to work independently and without direct supervision to execute and monitor work assignments and meet established deadlines.
Ability to use relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with policies, procedures, government laws, rules, and regulations, or standards.
Ability to execute work, problem solve, monitor performance of staff and meet established deadlines.
Ability to work outside in the harsh NNSS environment.

Must possess an appropriate valid driver’s license.

Fulfill the duties and responsibilities as Field Material Coordinator (FMC) and expeditor at the Nevada National Security Site for direct funded U1A Complex Enhancement Projects (UCEP).
Support AMPD and Material Management Supervisors to ensure the proper application of material control functions identified in the Mission Support and Test Services, LLC (MSTS) Quality program are implemented and in compliance.
Provide traceability and control of material from procurement to issuance and final disposition, including the following areas: procurement of materials and services, receipt, inspection handling, storage, retrieval, issuance, and disposal turn-in; facilities equipment, and tools; maintenance tools and equipment control; and control and coordination of calibrations for measuring and testing equipment.
Establish, maintain, and inventory controlled material storage areas.
Ensure compliance with material storage requirements.
Process procurement requests in Oracle database to buy material.
Manage material control staging area for material to include requisition, receipt and issue, storage, and inventory control.
Issue material to work packages and update Maximo records to ensure traceability of material is captured.
Plans, schedules and manages the efficient movement of material from receiving or the warehouse to production.
Works with Subcontract Technical Representatives to develop raw material and scheduling requirements from engineering specifications and production schedules and plans and manages material movement with purchasing, warehouse, and production.
Prepares recommendations for work planning and scheduling with maintenance, construction, and various other organizations.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure accountability of all purchased material.
Ensures needed materials are on hand and ready for use.
Performs a wide variety of activities of broad scope, related to key business and technical operations, processes, programs, and projects.
Participates in work planning and schedules with Project Managers.
Prepare reports, procedures and deliverables for management.
Performs related work as assigned by manager.
