Apogee is actively seeking a full-time Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) Scheduler supporting the 556th Test and Evaluation Squadron (TES) and Detachment 4, 53rd Test Management Group (TMG) at Nellis Air Force Base (AFB) and Creech AFB, NV. Apogee will provide Unit Project Officers (UPOs) with Subject Matter Expertise as Instructor/Test Pilots and Sensor Operators, on MQ-9 Aircraft, Squadron Operations Center (SOC), and Ground Control Stations (GCS); as well as a Scheduler, and Unit Security Manager. This position requires a Top Secret (TS) clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility.

  • Responsible for producing the weekly schedule, to include aircraft, simulator, and meeting schedules using Patriot Excalibur (PEX), Microsoft Excel, and other computer applications
  • Attend all applicable Creech AFB, Nellis AFB, Nevada Test and Training Range (NTTR), and 432 WG scheduling meetings
  • Aid Program Managers and UPOs in coordinating non-local airspace when required
  • Interface with the 556 TES Director of Operations, Det 4, Test Teams, training, and Standardization and Evaluation to produce the weekly schedule
  • Responsible for coordinating with appropriate maintenance and local scheduling shops for deconfliction, launch and recovery, test mission needs, handover times
  • Handle the coordination and scheduling of crews, support personnel, flights, test events, meetings, airspace, Federal Aviation Administration Certificates of Authorizations, range-space, frequencies, and resources as directed by the Government
  • Publish the resulting schedule in accordance with 556 TES standards


  • TOP SECRET clearance with eligibility for SCI
  • 2 years' experience scheduling Nellis or Creech AFB flying operations including use of Microsoft Excel, Patriot Excalibur (PEX), NTTR range websites (GRR, CSE, and mission planning site), O-71, 297, 2407 schedule change procedures, and R4808 scheduling
  • 5 years Air Force flying operations or Air Force aircraft maintenance experience
