Responsible for providing non-invasive, general, and/or electrophsiology consultative cardiology services in hospital and clinic settings. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Provides initial consultation and daily follow-up rounds on patients in the cardiology service. Primary focus will be ambulatory. Provides hospital coverage in coordination with other non-invasive and interventional cardiologists.

  • Performs appropriate non-invasive studies (stress testing, TEE, cardioversion, etc) on hospitalized patients and scheduled outpatients. Interprets ECG's and Echos.

  • Potential engagement and leadership in national programs

  • Provides outpatient consultations. Requires an MD and completion of approved internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship. Requires current unrestricted medical licensure in applicable state(s) and board eligibility or board certification. Nuclear, CT angiography experience/certification preferred.

  • Education and/or Experience: Completion of approved internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship

  • Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Board certified/board eligible in cardiology.

  • Other Qualifications: Nuclear, CT angiography experience/certification a plus.
