NH Learning Group Channel Sales Representative in Reno, Nevada

Job Descriptions:

Under the direction of the VP Sales, the Channel Sales Representative is responsible for facilitating a culture of problem solving that continuously improves quality, cost, service, and profitability. This position will be responsible for ensuring positive and successful channel and partner relationships. Responsible for cultivating, maintaining and enhancing NH Learning Group’s relationships with potential clients and partner’s field offices, corporate contacts, and vendors. Ensure the region’s participation in partner and channel revenue generating events and programs. Seek to understand the current technologies, processes, and procedures to best guide the business to a more lean process.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with Business Partners and Channels, ensuring the company is meeting and / or exceeding their expectations, partnering with them on initiates to drive business and ensure positive relationships.

  • Drives relationships with our partners and vendors.

  • Develop, communicate and execute plans to achieve or exceed channel sales and initiatives goals.

  • Become a Subject matter expertise in Sales, IT and support functions (Front Desk Operations).

  • Coordinate benchmarking and external analysis (Subject Matter Experts, Workshops, location visits, etc.).

  • Educate channel partners’ staff on all initiatives on a consistent and ongoing basis.

  • Manage all required and necessary documentation.

  • Compile monthly reports to communicate with Management on initiatives and pipelines.

  • Participate in channel partner sales meetings as a subject matter expert.

  • Any other duties as assigned.

Required Experience:

  • Requires a minimum of five to seven years of demonstrated, relevant, proven and recent experience in the Information Technology and/or Training industry.

  • Requires excellent communication (verbal, in person and written), interpersonal, organizational and presentation skills.

  • Requires significant relationship building skills with a history or relationship cultivation and heavy interaction to the 'C' level.

  • Requires excellent interpersonal skills to contend with potentially difficult situations

  • Ability to work in a fast-changing, environment where you must be flexible and learn quickly.

  • Great customer service, critical thinking, problem analysis/resolution, organization, time management skills and must be detail oriented.

  • Great telephone and email manner and etiquette.

  • Ability to work under pressure and deadlines is essential.

Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent sitting and/or standing required.

  • Constantly operates a computer with use of hands/fingers.

  • Must be able to effectively communicate by means of the spoken word to impart oral information to coworkers or to the public and convey detailed spoken instructions to others accurately, loudly, or quickly.

  • Must be able to perceive the nature of sounds by ear.

  • Lifting or carrying objects 30lbs or less while using safe lifting techniques.
