For over 56 years, Hamilton has been satisfying customer needs by combining quality materials with skilled workmanship, ensuring the highest level of performance of every precision fluid measuring device we manufacture.Hamilton Company currently has an opening for a Senior PCB Designer.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Designs layout of printed circuit boards that comply with Mechanical, EMC, and Electrical fit, form, and functional requirements.Interfaces with mechanical and electrical engineering groups to establish physical and electrical parameters to meet packaging requirements.Generates and checks all assembly drawings, parts lists and output files for the complete fabrication of printed circuit boards including Gerber files, IPC netlist, drill files, etc.Generates ECOs and all supporting documentation for board release.Interfaces with board houses to resolve technical issues, submits designs and obtains quotes.Resolves technical issues related to PCB designs and assists design groups with solutions.Maintains and defines library symbols and footprints per electrical engineering guidelines.Researches and implements new techniques and technologies to grow the departmental PCB design skillset, reduces PCB cost, and stays current on industry PCB design practices.Mentors junior PCB designers.Reports status of work as required by supervisor.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:AA Degree in Design/Drafting, CAD Technology or equivalent.
