May act as the team lead on projects, providing coaching, guidance and feedback to develop skills of team members. Effectively consults with management of customer organizations. Participates in business development activities. Develops and leads detailed solutions for moderately complex projects.
6-8 years of experience relevant to this position including 3-4 years consulting experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.
This is a remote/office based position which may be performed anywhere in the United States except for within the state of Colorado.

Oracle Retail Consulting (ORC) is looking for highly skilled technology consultant, specialized in Oracle Retail Product Suite (SIM/SIOC, ReSa, RMS, RPM, ReIM, Alloc) with implementation experience ranging from v12-v19 and Oracle Saas/Paas implementation, experience with the Oracle Data Migration process to help customer migrate to the Cloud.
Candidate should demonstrate expertise in both functional and technical aspects of solutions for complex customer engagements. Must be capable of leading the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality, integrated software solutions within constraints of time and budget. May act as the team lead on projects, providing coaching, guidance, and feedback to develop skills of team members. Candidates should be self-motivated who can work as part of a team or operate independently in customer facing roles.
- Candidate should have ability to lead/participate in client implementations of one or more of modules within the Oracle Retail Merch Solutions Suite (RMS, SIM/SIOC, RPM, RTM, Invoice Match, Allocation, Sales Audit, RIB). Candidate should have abilities to lead or support the following implementation responsibilities:
o Lead/Participate in the development of technical implementation deliverables related to integration, conversion, security, batch and/or infrastructure.
o Install/configure/provision Oracle Retail Products on Premise or support Cloud deployments
o Capable of creating deliverables for conversion and integration strategy
o Capable of creating RICE deliverable
o Provide guidance for technical approach options, provide technical knowledge and lead/participate in workshops with retail clients' IT teams
o Support production monitoring and managing of SR (Service Request) during Hypercare or post production support
o Capable of planning and constructing patch using base cumulative hot fixes and customizations as identified for a customer
o Good understanding of both a RAC infrastructure and deployment in a high availability environment
o Experience of configuring RIB and RSB with different options
- Experience in setting up RSB with DESP, Kafka, ETL etc
o Solid understanding of Oracle DB and Infrastructure configuration
- Understanding of Infrastructure AIX/Linux/Dyna Trace understanding
o Understanding of new Security/Authentication/Authorization procedure
o Good to have experience in Setting up ORMS security with OID, LDAP, OAM
o Work with Internal Oracle teams to assist in Upgrading/Patching Oracle Retail Environments
o Interact with and work alongside the Client and partners teams, at the customer site as/when required.
o Proactively build and maintain the confidence of clients and colleagues
o Define various technical architecture based on customer needs
o Provide internal support during bench time for business development activities or internal projects
o Support On premise Database and application performance monitoring/tuning (not required)
Professional Skills/Knowledge / Skills
Very strong with the Oracle Retail Merch Solutions Suite (RMS, SIM/SIOC, RPM, RTM, Invoice Match, Allocation, Sales Audit, RIB/RICS) (v12 – V19), V16, V19 preferred
Have experience with 3 or more full project life cycles for the Oracle Retail Solutions Suite (RMS, SIM/SIOC, RPM, RTM, Invoice Match, Allocation, Sales Audit, RIB).
Very strong Oracle Database skills with the latest versions
Experience with the Oracle Retail Data Migration tool for Saas Implementations
Reasonable programming language skills (PLSQL, Java, C , proC)
Deep knowledge of integration that includes RIB Messages, Web Services (SOAP & REST), XML
Experience with other Oracle products, like Oracle Identity Management, Oracle SOA/OSB,
Good UNIX & Linux systems experience
Oracle BI Publisher, is a plus
Experience with Oracle RAF (Retail Application Framework) & ADF is a plus
Ability to understand business challenges and translate them into architectural solutions
Ability to lead/work independently and make independent judgments
Attention to detail and ability to conduct thorough testing
Overall analytical skills and ability to pick up new technical skills quickly
