National Dentex Shipping & Receiving Associate in Reno, Nevada

Our team is growing, and we are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this opportunity at NDX nSequence in Reno, NV for a Full-Time Shipping & Receiving Associate. The regular hours for this position are from 9:00am to 6:00pm, Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:

  • Responsible daily for sorting the incoming cases as they come into the laboratory according to the technical policies provided

  • Responsible daily for the disinfection process of incoming cases as required by law

  • Responsible for case entry process checking in cases as they come into the laboratory

  • Packing at primary packing station

  • Participate in running cases through FedEx/Ups/USPS, and stage for FedEx/UPS pick-up

  • Participate in Quality Control of completed packages after they have been run through FedEx/UPS/USPS machines

  • Checking and stocking of all non-production areas daily

  • Order non-production supplies as needed

  • Packing and sending marketing kits

  • Make boxes for product shipping

  • Breakdown boxes received from UPS/Fed-Ex/USPS to assure all items are processed

  • Keep inventory stockroom clean and organized

  • Physical inventory on stockroom once per month

  • Backup phones – incoming calls

  • Daily update reporting to lab leaders

  • Follow up phone calls to customers

  • Follow up of outsourced cases

  • Print pictures from doctors & merge with case

  • All other duties as assigned

Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Creative thinking and problem solving skills

  • Excellent oral communication skills to present concerns/ideas with tact and diplomacy

  • Desire to provide aide to expedite other positions for a more efficient overall team

  • Strong data entry skills

  • Typing, 35 words per minute

  • Strong ability to listen and comprehend instructions, following tasks through to completion

Minimum Education and Experience Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • No experience required; paid training will be provided

Hazardous Materials or Equipment Used:

  • Disinfectant process chemicals

  • Personal protective equipment as required

  • Office equipment

  • Insert hazardous materials and/or equipment

Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and/or reach

  • Exhibit fine motor skills and/or perform repetitive motions

  • Good hand-eye coordination

  • Good manual dexterity

  • Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time

  • Repeated bending and kneeling

  • Vision capabilities: Depth perception, attention to detail and/or color

  • Push, pull, lift, and/or carry up to 25 pounds
