Supervise the daily operations of the Culinary Equipment & Supplies Distribution Center which include picking, packing, shipping and put-away in a dry storage non temperature-controlled environment.

  • Lead, coach, mentor, motivate and inspire direct reports and others to achieve an optimum level of performance by consistently upholding the Company values and Code of Conduct and by demonstrating role model behavior in all that is said and done.

  • Conduct performance reviews for direct reports in a timely manner and recommend increases in compensation in accordance with pre-established policy.

  • Daily review of production labor standard reports, printing and providing for each associate. Coaching and counseling any associate or temporary worker that falls below our labor goals.

  • Working with every job function ensuring proper SOP use and looking for process change to drive continual improvement.

  • Plan, map out the shift workload being dynamic in how hours are dedicated to each job function.

  • Supervise and monitor each job function in the facility making changes in labor hours to adjust for volume spikes daily.

  • Oversee the training of new employees by observing and evaluating their progress.

  • Ensure that daily service levels are met in each department on a daily basis.

  • Research and find stock-outs on orders, working to continually improve inventory accuracy.

  • Maintain the security of warehouse during shift following all policies provided.

  • Oversee the cleaning of warehouse and ensuring all sanitation guidelines are being followed.

  • Lock up warehouse and set security alarm at end of shift.

  • Conduct meetings with employees regarding safety, productivity or general information.

  • Participate in and satisfactorily complete all required training and development programs required for the assigned position.

  • Working with vendors for repairs, supplies or new opportunities.
