Warehouse - Shipping ClerkBusiness Entity: Hamilton CompanyLocation: Reno, NViJob DescriptionHamilton Company is looking for a Inventory Specialist, or Shipping Clerk who falls under the immediate supervision of the Warehouse Manager. The Shipping Clerk will be responsible for order pulling, cycle count procedures, shipping and receiving tasks. The Shipping Clerk will be required to be familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within all aspects of the department.Other responsibilities may include:Operate various warehouse equipment, i.e. pallet rider, pallet jack, and reach forkliftPull orders accurately and quicklyReview daily reports to control correct part movementsProvide required parts to shipping for Sales Order requirementsAssist the leadperson in the investigation of inventory discrepancies and correct accordinglyMaintain a neat and organized warehouse utilizing space efficientlyAll other duties as assignediQualificationsKnowledge of stocking products with FIFOKnowledge of "Best Practice" method necessaryFamiliar with Windows based operating systems and warehouse management systemsExperience using UPS, FedEx and DHL shipping systemsStock room, order pulling (both automated and manual methods) experienceExperience in cycle counting practices regarding inventory controlPossess good oral and written communication skillsAbility to meet short deadlinesPosition requires exerting up to 40 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objectsiEducation and ExperienceMust have High School diploma or GEDPrior stock room, order pulling and shipping experience necessaryTechnical Certificate and/or LEAP or CTE Program Completion PreferrediCompany DescriptionHamilton Company is a worldwide leader in the design and manufacture of manual, semi-automated and robotic products for precision fluid measuring.
