Applicant must be skilled in the use of voltmeters, ammeters, etc. and must have an understanding of how to program and troubleshoot radio/electronic systems. Provide maintenance and repair of mining dispatch systems. This position is designated working a day shift schedule, with occasional weekends included. However, the Radio Technician is expected to respond to call-outs on off-shifts as required. Although the Robinson Mine provides a tool allowance, successful applicants must provide their own hand tools. Minimum four years' experience in maintaining and repairing handheld and base radio systems. Field/Bench technician for communications equipment including installation, service/repairs, and programming of Motorola two-way radios. Tower climbing: installations and repairs.
